Healthy People 2010 Targets

Healthy People 2010 objectives are national health goals for the United States to achieve over the first decade of the new century. These objectives set specific targets to help guide states, communities, professional organizations, and others in developing programs to improve health for all Americans. Healthy People 2010 objectives and targets were developed in consultation with a wide range of experts on the basis of the best-available and most up-to-date scientific knowledge.
