FSI Language Courses (http://fsi-language-courses.com)
Provides language courses for many languages, including Romanian. The courses were developed by the U.S. Foreign Service Institute, which prepares U.S. diplomats for assignment in U.S. embassies around the world.

Provides information on known living languages [and Romanian sign language] spoken in Romania and their populations.

There are four Romanian (Indo-European romance) languages: Dacoromanian (closely associated with standard RomanianCthe most common spoken language), Aromanian, Meglenoromanian, and Istroromanian. Verb conjugations are given for the four languages and a map shows their geographic distribution.

This online literary weekly from Bucharest includes a link to "Scriitori români," which lists more than 1,500 Romanian authors, with their birth/death dates. Also includes links to "Reviste literare românesti," a directory and detailed information for approximately 50 Romanian literary periodicals worldwide.
