The Air, Water, and Aquatic Environments Science Program
(AWAE) is a program that is part of the United States Forest Service Rocky
Mountain Research Station.
The mission of the AWAE is to synthesize emerging science
supporting truly integrated management of entire ecosystems into an
understanding of the effects of natural processes and human activities on our
air, water, and aquatic resources in the Interior West. The Program has Science
Teams based in Albuquerque, NM; Flagstaff, AZ; Fort Collins, CO; Missoula, MT;
Moscow, ID; and the AWAE headquarters are located in Boise, ID.
