What's New

Capital gains rate reduction.   The capital gains rate for qualified dividends has generally been reduced to zero after December 31, 2007, for individuals whose other income is taxed at the 10% or 15% rate.

RIC reporting changes.   RICs meeting the requirements under final Regulations section 1.853-4 have new reporting requirements. See the instructions for boxes 6 and 7.
