The Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System
(BRFSS) is conducted and administrated by the Hawaii Department of
Health in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC). The results from the BRFSS are used by the state to
help formulate public health policies, prevention and health promotion
programs.
