About Us- Local Communities

Temporary office in Manistee, MI for Manistee National Forest Festival

In addition to the numerous trails and camping facilities available on the Huron-Manistee National Forest, there are also many beautiful scenic areas, the unique Nordhouse Dunes wilderness area, wildflower viewing, and wildlife auto tours.

During the summer the communities in and around the forests host numerous festivals and street fairs, as well as having a variety of boutiques, grocery stores, restaurants and gas stations where you can purchase supplies and trinkets.
