ONGOING FIRES, EMERGENCIES AND CLOSURES
Trail and Road Closing
- Chadwick ATV Trail Relocation Project, affects portions of Trail 171, 130, 130A, 131 and 132A which are temporarily closed. The Ava/Cassville/Willow Springs Ranger District will be doing environmental analysis, the proposed action, is post the website for you to comment on. For addition information, please contact Darla Rein at 417-683-4428.
- Low water crossing (bridge) at Reynolds County Road 849 and the West Fork of the Black River is being replaced.
Construction will begin November 3, 2008 and will run through mid January 2009. Visitors to the Sutton Bluff area are asked to take an alternate route around the construction. For more information contact the Salem Ranger District at 573 / 729-6656. Map of the area (880k pdf format)
