Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law,
www.bazelon.org. The Bazelon Center focuses on the legal rights of people with mental disabilities in managed care systems; use of the Federal Fair Housing Act to challenge housing discrimination; protections under the Americans with Disabilities Act for people with mental disabilities in the workplace; legislative updates; and handbooks, manuals, and reports.

Beyond Shelter, www.beyondshelter.org,. Beyond Shelter is a private, nonprofit agency whose mission is to combat chronic poverty, welfare dependency and homelessness among families with children, through the provision of housing and social services and the promotion of systemic change.

Center for Urban Community Services, www.cucs.org. CUCS provides technical assistance and training to organizations to enhance their efforts to help people who are homeless with mental illnesses and other special needs access housing and supportive services. This site provides a wealth of information about housing and service initiatives and links to other effective resources.

Corporation for Supportive Housing, www.csh.org. CSH provides on-site technical assistance and training on all aspects of the development and operation of supportive housing for people who have experienced homelessness, including funding the supportive services, approaches to employment, etc. Their website includes links to local programs, a legislative action center, a resources page, online publications, and a contacts list.

HomeBase: Center for Common Concern, www.homebaseccc.org. HomeBase provides technical assistance, training, and information on ending homelessness, preventing its recurrence, and decreasing its effect on communities. Their approach emphasizes identifying the causes of homelessness and developing and implementing long-term solutions that address these causes.

National Alliance to End Homelessness, www.naeh.org. This site includes statistics, policy and legislative information, publications, best practices and profiles, publications, fact sheets, links, and other resources on homelessness.

National Center on Family Homelessness, www.familyhomelessness.org. This site provides information about programs and services available for long-term solutions for homeless families, research and evaluation, program design and implementation, and policy and public information.

National Coalition for Homeless Veterans, www.nchv.org. This site provides a fact sheet and answers to frequently asked questions about veterans who are homeless. There is also a brief guide to starting a homeless veterans program. Current policy issues and the concept of StandDown community-based interventions are also discussed.

National Health Care for the Homeless Council, www.nhchc.org. This site has a policy and advocacy section with several papers and legislative updates online. Other sections include research, clinical resources, training and education, and publications such as newsletters and fact sheets.

National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty, www.nlchp.org. This site includes fact sheets on housing, health, and SSI/SSDI, Food Stamps, quality of life issues, and also provides a list of its publications and links to other sites.

National Network for Youth, www.NN4youth.org. The National Network actively engages in public education efforts, promotes youth/adult partnerships, supports the delivery of high quality, effective programs and services among youth-serving agencies, and provides training and technical assistance.

National Resource Center on Homelessness and Mental Illness, www.nrchmi.samhsa.gov. This site includes annotated bibliographies and a searchable database of resources related to homelessness and mental illness, as well as fact sheets, statistics, training and technical assistance information, referral lists and links to other sites.

Technical Assistance Collaborative, www.tacinc.org. TAC provides on-site technical assistance on the full range of mainstream and targeted federal housing programs and policies that can expand affordable housing for people who experience homelessness. Their website includes a great deal of related information about the development and financing of housing for people with disabilities.
