U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Alexandre Leseur confirms his measurement was at least 60 inches of ice before moving on to the next location in Fairbanks, Alaska, Dec. 23, 2008. Leseur is assigned to the 354th Civil Engineer Squadron range maintenance, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. The ice bridge takes six to 10 weeks to complete in usually sub-zero weather. A C-5M Super Galaxy, largest aircraft in the Air Force, is lit by the largest moon of the year while it sits on the tarmac for a period of 24 hours with temperatures low as -25 degrees during cold weather testing on Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, Dec. 12, 2008.
