Leseur is assigned to the 354th Civil Engineer Squadron range maintenance, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. The ice bridge takes six to 10 weeks to complete in usually sub-zero weather. The ice bridge is a series of ice plateaus five-feet deep and 32 miles long. It is capable of supporting more than 110 tons.
