Projects & Plans - Mammoth Mountain Proposed Ski Back Trail

October 2007 Update - The Inyo National Forest, Mammoth District, is preparing an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the proposed Ski Back Trail project. The Forest Service and Mammoth Mountain Ski Area propose construction of a Ski Trail from the vicinity of the Mammoth Mountain maintenance garage, paralleling State Route 203, east, to intersect with Forest Trail Road in the Town of Mammoth Lakes. The EA is available for public review and comment for 30-days. The closing date to submit public comments on the Ski Back Trail proposal is November 29, 2007.
