Hurricane Katrina: GIS Spatial Analysis of Flood Impacts in Mississippi - Residential Substantially Damaged Buildings in Relation to the Advisory Base Flood Elevations and Q3

Of the 2,342 structures damaged by the hurricane, 91% received damages that cost over 50% of the fair market value before Katrina. More than 50% of the damaged buildings were greater than 90% damaged.
