Community-Based Outpatient Clinic

If you live close to Jonesboro and would like to be treated at the Jonesboro clinic, you must first make application with the Memphis VA Medical Center.

Driving Directions

The Northeast Area Health Education Center (AHEC-NE) Family Practice Clinic is located on the St. Bernards Medical Center campus on Jackson Street.

From the Southeast: Take US 63 North to Jonesboro. Take the Arkansas 1 BR exit. Keep right at the fork to go tonto AR-1 BR / Harrisburg Road. Proceed for just under one mile, and turn left onto East Highland Drive, then turn right onto Church Street. Proceed 1 mile, then right onto East Jackson Avenue.

From the Southwest: Take 49 North to Jonesboro. Turn right onto East Jefferson Avenue. Turn left onto South Church Street, then right onto East Jackson Avenue.

From the Northwest: Take 63 South. Turn left onto US-63 BR South (Dan Avenue). Turn right onto North Main Street. Turn left onto West Washington Avenue. Turn right onto South Church Street, then left onto East Jackson Avenue.

From the Northeast: Take 49 South to Jonesboro. Turn left onto Nettleton Avenue. Turn right onto Church Street, then right onto East Jackson Avenue.

Parking

Parking is available in either of the parking lots north of the hospital or in the multi-story parking deck. Entrance to the parking deck is from Carson street. Carson street is between the cemetery and the hospital on the east side of the campus.

If you choose the parking deck go up one level to the orange level. If parking is not available on this level proceed up to the blue, red, brown or black levels for parking.

When leaving the parking deck for our clinic, exit the parking deck on the southwest or northwest corners. There you can take either stairs or an elevator to the red level. Upon entering the red level look for direction signs to the AHEC-NE Family Practice Clinic.
