What Was the Technical Assistance Continuity Team (TACT)?

The TACT served as the primary source for providing TA to State teams in a variety of content and issue areas. The TACT, comprised of three components, was designed to respond to specific goals. The objectives of the TACT were to develop a better understanding of TA needs and improve access to a range of technical and organizational experts to meet these needs. The three TACT components include:

  • Health Systems Research, Inc. (HSR): Provide overall coordination and quality assurance; serve as the primary point of contact for Federal partners and TA contractors; serve as a liaison to existing Homeless Policy Academy contracts and planning activities
  • Policy Research Associates, Inc. (PRA): Coordinate TA activities; designed and provided TA; identified appropriate consultants
  • Technical Assistance Consultants: Designed TA with State Team; provided facilitation and TA; served as a “case manager” for assigned States to help teams maintain momentum.

NOTE: TA is no longer being offered under this completed project.
