Once you find the forest/grassland(s) of your choice you may request specific information by contacting the forest/grassland directly. You may also want to try www.recreation.gov for more information about recreational opportunities on public lands.

Any commercial use of National Forest lands requires a special use permit. This includes outfitter/guiding from River Access Sites. Outfitter/Guides authorized use of National Forest access sites shall have a Hangtag attached to the rearview mirror of their vehicle. They will also attach a boat tag to their watercraft prior to launching. These tags are marked with an identifying color and number. Authorized guides will also have in their possession a current ID card issued by the Forest Service.
