摘要

简介
互联网彻底改变了实行公共卫生监测的方式。乔治亚州已将互联网用于应申报疾病的报告、电子形式的疾病爆发管理和事故早期监测。在对 125000 名来到乔治亚州的卡特里娜飓风疏散人员进行的公共卫生措施中,我们就使用了互联网。

方法
我们制作了疏散避难所的网上监测表,还制作了一份网上死亡登记册。地区流行病学家、医院的医生和医学检查官/验尸官以电子方式填表。我们分析了这些数据和疏散人员使用过的急诊室提供的数据。

结果
前往急诊室就诊的避难所居民和患者,报告的主要是慢性疾病。在 33 名死亡的疏散人员中,仅有 2 人死于传染性疾病,1 人间接死于飓风。

结论
在乔治亚州卡特里娜飓风的公共卫生措施中,互联网对于收集多个地点、由众多不同人员填写,涉及多种健康遭遇的卫生数据是不可或缺的。
