摘要

背景
自 1980 年以来,美国儿童和青少年超重现象大幅上升。结果,儿童和青少年超重成为一个实质性的健康问题,需要实施有效的健康促进计划和干预措施。

基本情况
和 2002 年盐湖城举行冬季奥运会的同一时间,犹他州卫生厅 (UDOH) 出台了一项试点计划,这项计划称为“金牌学校”(Gold Medal School, GMS),目的是促进学龄儿童的健康生活方式。

方法
制定 GMS 计划,是为了帮助学校制定政策,创造健康的学校环境,以满足 5 级具体标准:铜、银、金、白金和重量级白金。参与的学校在 UDOH 的指导下,受到各项激励措施的鼓励,创造一个有益健康的学校环境。

结果
在犹他州 37 个学区中,总共有 316 所学校和约 166600 名学生参加了 GMS 计划。结果,自计划启动(2001-2002 学年)以来,授予了 1029 枚奖牌,制定了 2205 条政策,并且报告发生了 2121 项环境变化。

说明
由于参与 GMS 计划,各个学校制定实施了广泛的学校政策,环境发生了改变。为改进这一计划,我们建议加强影响和结果评估工作,并在学校上课日提高高强度身体活动的参与程度。
