• American Foundation for AIDS Research
  (amfAR) Treatment directory offers searchable database of clinical results for approved and experimental treatments for HIV and HIV-related conditions and infections, as well protocol information and locations of actively recruiting clinical trials.
• CenterWatch Clinical Trials List
  Patient and professional information on clinical trials available across the U.S. (not limited to HIV/AIDS), listed by state, with contact information. The CW World feature maintains international clinical trials listings.
• ClinicalTrials.gov
  National Institutes of Health's database of clinical trials for numerous medical conditions, including HIV disease.
• CRISP Database
  Computer Retrieval of Information on Scientific Projects (CRISP) is a searchable database of U.S.-federally funded biomedical research projects conducted at universities, hospitals, and other research institutions.
• IAVI Database of Preventive AIDS Vaccines in Human Trials
  Maintained by the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative.
• Research Africa Database
  Maintained by RTI International with support from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). This site lists research projects on HIV/AIDS, malaria and TB in Sub-Saharan Africa by country.

• Multicenter AIDS Cohort Study
  (MACS) Ongoing prospective study of the natural and treated histories of HIV-1 infection in MSM in Baltimore, Chicago, Pittsburgh and Los Angeles.
• Studies of Ocular Complications of AIDS
  (SOCA) A collaborative multicenter research effort whose objective is to evaluate strategies for the treatment and prevention of ocular complications associated with AIDS. Current focus is a longitudinal study of ocular complications.
• Women's Interagency HIV Study
  (WIHS) A multicenter, prospective study established in 1993 to carry out comprehensive investigations of the impact of HIV infection in women. Conducted by the NIH in tandem with a the HIV Epidemiology Research Study (HERS), coordinated by the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC.)
