    Patient and professional information on clinical trials available across the U.S. (not limited to HIV/AIDS), listed by state, with contact information. The CW World feature maintains international clinical trials listings.

    National Institutes of Health's database of clinical trials for numerous medical conditions, including HIV disease.
  • CRISP Database
    Computer Retrieval of Information on Scientific Projects (CRISP) is a searchable database of U.S.-federally funded biomedical research projects conducted at universities, hospitals, and other research institutions.
  • IAVI Database of Preventive AIDS Vaccines in Human Trials
    Maintained by the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative.
  • Research Africa Database

  • Multicenter AIDS Cohort Study
    (MACS) Ongoing prospective study of the natural and treated histories of HIV-1 infection in MSM in Baltimore, Chicago, Pittsburgh and Los Angeles.
  • Studies of Ocular Complications of AIDS
    (SOCA) A collaborative multicenter research effort whose objective is to evaluate strategies for the treatment and prevention of ocular complications associated with AIDS. Current focus is a longitudinal study of ocular complications.
  • Women's Interagency HIV Study
    (WIHS) A multicenter, prospective study established in 1993 to carry out comprehensive investigations of the impact of HIV infection in women. Conducted by the NIH in tandem with a the HIV Epidemiology Research Study (HERS), coordinated by the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC.)
