Over
a three year period (October 1, 2001 to September
30, 2004) the HRSA Third Party Reimbursement Training
and Technical Assistance Program provided two
days of live training on third party reimbursement
issues at 36 sites in 33 states. The funding for
this effort has been spent, so live sessions are
no longer being offered. However, we archived
one of these two-day presentations in Newton,
Massachusetts, and made it available on-line.
For
the live training, fourteen sessions were provided
over a two day period, including two break-out
sessions, on various third party reimbursement
issues of interest to HRSA grantees. These sessions
were on a basic to intermediate level and were
intended primarily for HRSA grantees that either
were not yet billing third party payers or wanted
to improve their third party reimbursement practices.
Newer staff of larger, older HRSA grantees, also
benefited from the training sessions. More experienced
staff found the sessions to be a good review.
You
can view each session sequentially for the complete
program, or select and view specific sessions
of interest from the curriculum outline, linked
below. While these archived sessions do not provide
the immediacy and interaction possible with in-person
sessions, they do make it possible to access the
material presented at these successful and very
well received presentations.
