Tamara Overby is the new director of BCRS’ Division of Applications and Awards. Before joining BCRS, Overby spent seven years at the Healthcare Systems Bureau’s Division of Vaccine Injury Compensation, where she served as chief of the Policy Analysis Branch and as acting director of the Smallpox Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.

Preeti Kanodia is a senior advisor in BPHC’s Office of Quality and Data. Kanodia previously worked as a public health analyst on New Access Point funding opportunities in BPHC’s Office of Policy and Program Development.

Office of the Administrator (OA)

Joni Johns recently returned to OA’s Office of Communications as the Web content team leader. Johns previously worked for nine years in OA’s Office of Information Technology, Division of Electronic Information and Data Management, where her duties also were focused on the Web. She joined HRSA in 1994 as a public affairs specialist in the Office of Communications.
