Nurses at the Clinical Center are integral health care team members who provide and coordinate patient care in a research setting. Nurses work collaboratively to develop a patient-focused plan that identifies outcomes for each episode of care. Continuity of inpatient and outpatient care is provided through various roles such as case manager or research nurse.
