SSL Certificate

The HRSA WRS website uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), a protocol for transmitting private documents via the Internet, to secure the data that you report via this web application. SSL works by using a private key to encrypt data that's transferred over the SSL connection. By convention, URLs that require an SSL connection start with https: instead of http:.

To access the AOR/SDSPR forms for your school please proceed to accept the certificate when prompted by the browser or install the SSL certificate so that you don't have to see the prompt every time you login to the WRS.

To install the SSL certificate follow the instructions below.

Installation

When you see the Security Alert window next time you try to log into the WRS click on the View Certificate button.

If you click on "Yes" it will allow you to continue but you will not be installing the SSL certificate. This will cause the prompt to continue to appear each time you login.

The Certificate Information window tells you what the cerfiticate is for, for whom it was issued and what organization issued it.

To continue with the installation click on the Install Certificate button

The Certificate Import Wizard will guide you the rest of the installation process. Just click on the Next button and when you get to the last screen click on the Finish button.

This certificate is valid for one year so that you can continue to enter the HRSA WRS without being prompted to reinstall it.

If at any time you require assistance with this process, contact HRSA's WRS Technical Support Staff by emailing to wrssupport@hrsa.gov or by calling (240) 223-3066.

The SSL certificates work the same on both Netscape and Internet Explorer browsers. For optimal use of the AOR/SDSPR WRS, download and install the latest version of your browser. To obtain a free web browser click on one of the two links below and follow their instructions for downloading and installing the browser.
