High Performance Computing & Communications Office (HPCC)

The HPCC Office serves as the project management office for the NOAA Research and Development High Performance Computing System. The HPCC:

  • Conducts research on advanced programming techniques for some of the world’s fastest computers.
  • Develops and deploys advanced networking technologies.
  • Applies advanced information technologies to NOAA’s missions.
  • Coordinates with other Federal agencies conducting research in the Information Technology and Networking.
