Provides parents of children with disabilities in the state of Florida with information, training, assistance and support.

ChairScholars Florida Program

Sponsored by the ChairScholars Foundation, these scholarships are available to students attending public schools in the Florida counties of Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Volusia, Sarasota and Polk. These scholarships provide either full tuition for a bachelor's degree through the Florida university system or tuition assistance for vocational training.

Clarke Jacksonville Auditory/Oral Center

Works to provide a nurturing environment that stimulates cognitive, social and emotional development and to equip deaf or hearing impaired children with the listening and English language skills and self-confidence they need to succeed in schools with their hearing peers.

Family Network on Disabilities of Florida

A statewide network of families and individuals of all ages who may be at-risk, have disabilities or have special needs and their families, professionals and concerned citizens.

Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities

Supports persons with Developmental Disabilities in living, learning and working in their community.

Florida Bureau of Exceptional Education & Student Services

Administers programs for students with disabilities and for gifted students, coordinates student services and works to strengthen the quality and variety of services available to students with special needs.

Florida Center for Inclusive Communities

One of over sixty University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities in the country, the Center works to expand and improve services available to people with disabilities and their families.

Florida Department of Education Division of Vocational Rehabilitation

Works to enable individuals with disabilities in the state of Florida to obtain and keep employment.

Florida Division of Blind Services

Works to ensure people living in Florida, who are blind or visually impaired, have the tools, support and opportunity to achieve success. Includes information for parents and caregivers, job seekers, employers and others on topics including independent living, library services and assistive technology.

Florida Division of Blind Services Children's Program

Assists blind and visually impaired children in participating fully in community and educational settings.

Florida High School/High Tech

Florida High School/High Tech (HS/HT) is designed to provide high school students with all types of disabilities the opportunity to explore jobs or postsecondary education leading to technology-related careers.

Florida State University Student Disability Resource Center

Works to ensure that students with disabilities have equal access and equal participation at the university by helping to minimize and/or eliminate barriers including those related to programs, policies and physical structures at the university.

Learning Disabilities Association of Florida

Association provides advocacy, support and education for children, parents, professionals and adults with learning disabilities in Florida.

PEPNet-South

The Postsecondary Education Programs Network (PEPNet) provides resources, information, in-service training and technical assistance for postsecondary institutions to improve existing services or to establish new services for students who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Parent to Parent of Miami

Provides information, educational training and support to families who have children and adults with disabilities and/or special needs.

School to Work Project

"Virtual" volunteering initiative from the Florida State Rural Development Council helps challenged rural high school students' transition from school to adult life.

Southeast ADA Center (DBTAC)

This Disability & Business Technical Assistance Center (DBTAC) provides training, information and technical assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and accessible information technology (IT) to people in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

SunriseArc Education Services

Through the Adult Day Training Program, SunriseArc offers learning, working and playing activities designed to support individuals with even the most difficult challenges from intellectual, physical and emotional disabilities.
