As part of HRSA’s Bureau of Primary Health
Care’s (BPHC) continued effort to streamline,
simplify, improve and automate grant and data
reporting processes through the HRSA Electronic
Handbooks (EHB), BPHC is releasing another enhanced
version of the Change in Scope (CIS) module.
This enhancement will allow grantees to submit
self updates to scope information that does
not require a formal Change in Scope request.
This enhanced version is expected to be available
to Health Center grantees beginning August 15,
2008.
The benefit of the Grantee Self Update Module
is it allows for regular updates on scope information,
resulting in a dynamic and comprehensive scope
repository that is both current and accurate.
There are 2 types of self updates: 1) direct
self updates of information such as mailing
address, phone numbers, and hours of operation,
and 2) Project Officer notification updates
to add or delete "Other Activities",
change the mechanism of services and updating
essential attributes of sites.
Training/Technical assistance calls are scheduled
to provide grantees with specific details on
what changes are allowable in the grantee self
update module's and how to submit a grantee
self update.
