Director's Statement on EEO in the Marshals Service

Since my appointment as  Director of the United States Marshals Service, it has been my priority to uphold the standards and reputation upon which the Service has been built - credibility, professionalism an prestige.

I want to assure every employee that I am committed to leading an organization free of workplace discrimination.  I expect all employees to conduct themselves in a manner which reflects our reputation and refrain from behavior that would be considered discriminatory.  This behavior would include mistreating any individual - colleague or customer - differently because of his or her age, race,  color, national origin, religion, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, marital or parental status.  These types of discriminatory behaviors and harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. I know that managers and supervisors will support me in these efforts.
