Return to the MCHB timeline

Greg Alexander RS, MPH, ScD, Professor of Pediatrics & Public Health and Director of the MCH Leadership Skills Training Institute at the University of South Florida participated on the planning committee which conceptualized the site, led the team that developed the content for the timeline, authored the Infant Mortality module, and provided comments on drafts of the site.

These three graduate students at the University of South Florida, College of Public Health worked with Dr. Alexander to develop the content of the MCH History Timeline.

Colleen E. Huebner, PhD, MPH, Director, Maternal and Child Health Program and Associate Professor, Department of Health Services, University of Washington and Holly Grason, MA, Associate Professor, Department of Population, Family, and Reproductive Health, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, participated on the planning committee which conceptualized the site, developed in depth modules (Dr. Huebner wrote the MCH 101 module and Ms. Grason, with the assistance of Rebecca Barson, MPH authored the MCH Systems module) and commented on draft versions of the site.

Jack Neuner, Manager, Web Design and Development Group, Center for the Advancement of Distance Education, School of Public Health, University of Illinois at Chicago, took the planning committee's vision for the web site and made it a reality.

Maribeth Badura, RN, MS Director of the Division of Healthy Start and Perinatal Systems, MCHB provided funding for this site and the original idea for an MCH History web site.

Laura Kavanagh, MPP, Training Branch Chief, Division of Research, Training and Education, MCHB. She was chairing the planning committee, authoring the Performance and Accountability module, and keeping the project on track.
