Who participates in PNSS?
In 2006, 26 states, 1 U.S. territory and 5 Indian Tribal Organizations
contributed data representing approximately 1,100,000 women. PNSS
contributors are shown on the figure below. Approximately 99 percent of PNSS data comes from the WIC
Program. A small number of records come from other maternal and child
health programs.
