Adminstrative Services - Contracts The Contracts and Agreements Office (CAO) is responsible for the management and control of all NIMH IRP personnel contracts, Inter-Agency/Intra-Agency Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs), and Direct Citation Agreements. This office maintains a central repository for all agreements and personnel contracts. The CAO is responsible for the initiation and renewal of all agreements and personnel contracts. In this capacity, the office is instrumental in the negotiations, preparation, monitoring, and policy interpretation pertaining to personnel contracts and agreements. Personnel contracts includes the management of the Department of Treasury/FedSource Interagency Agreement, Professional Service Contracts, Department of Energy Interagency Agreement (ORISE contracts), and any other type of personnel contract. The CAO prepares and maintains files and reports as deemed necessary to monitor all agreements and contracts. All contractor NED/VEDS input for accessions, terminations, transfers, etc. is completed in this office. Identification badges and parking requests for contract staff are processed in the CAO. The CAO acts as the NIH liaison office for the FedSource contract and in this capacity provides guidance to and assists other NIH Institutes.
