A list of all genes studied Back to the top

Go to the Genes Studied page to view a list of all genes that have been studied. Please be aware this page has been broken down to many pages. Also, heart phenotype mutants can be viewed together on one page. So can nervous system mutants.

On the "Genes Studied" page, a link to a page showing gene ontology and images is provided if a phenotype mutant has been identified for a gene.

Case of the search term Back to the top

The search tool provided on this web site is not case sensitive. If a CG number (e.g., CG11914) is used for a search, it can be entered as either "CG11914" or "cg11914". The same holds true to gene names or symbols. "Limpet" can be entered as "limpet". "Lmpt" can ben entered as "lmpt".

Greek characters used in gene names and symbols Back to the top

Greek characters such as a, ß have to be entered as "alpha", "beta".

Phenotype category Back to the top

A phenotype category has to be selected to perform the search. The default category is "Heart". If you want to view images of a "Nervous system" phenotype, make sure the "Nervous system" radio button is selected.

Search terms Back to the top

We have screened over 5,000 genes. To search a phenotype mutant of a gene, the search term used can be either a CG number, a gene symbol, or a gene name. A gene name that has been considered a synonym of a recognized gene name can also be used as a search term to search a gene.
