Pathology
DVR's veterinary pathology staff supports the NIH intramural program through the investigation of spontaneous disease problems as well as by consultation on sisues related to specific experimental protocols. Gross necropsies can be performed on all laboratory animal species used at NIH.
Histopathology, immunohistochemistry, and electron microscopy services are also available. Special support requests, such as the harvesting of specific tissues, can be coordinated by prior arrangement.
