Students and postdoctoral researchers/fellows are encouraged to attend this workshop. A limited number of travel awards of up to $700 are available for students, postdoctoral researchers/fellows, and junior faculty. If you would like to apply for a travel award, please email a short cover letter containing a request for funds, a brief biographical sketch, and a brief description (up to 1 page) of your current work and future career plans. Recipients will be chosen by members of the organizing committee on the basis of need and interest in the novel field of neuroimaging in obesity. The deadline for applying for a travel award is September 1, 2008, and the chosen recipients will be notified by October 1, 2008.
