GWAC – Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) are task order and/or delivery order contracts for IT established by one agency for government-wide use. The Federal Acquisition Regulation System defines GWACs, and each GWAC is operated by an executive agent designated by OMB (Clinger Cohen Act, 40 U.S.C. 1412(e)).

MAC – Multi-Agency Contracts (MACs) are multiple award, ID/IQ contracts established to fill a bona fide need, and made available to other agencies through the Economy Act (Far 17.5)
