Procurement Conference of the Americas, 11/01/05
Teresa Sorrenti, IAE Program Executive, and Director of GSA Office of Acquisition Systems led an international panel of experts in e-government procurement at the Procurement Conference of the Americas in Atlanta, Georgia on November 1 and 2, 2005.
The conference was sponsored by the GSA Office of the Chief Acquisition Officer and drew 300 public and private sector managers and executives interested in all aspects of government procurement, both domestically and within the Americas. The Honorable David L. Bibb, GSA Deputy Administrator; Robert Burton, OMB OFPP acting Administrator; Hector Barreto, SBA Administrator; and Her Excellency Ana Vilma Albanez de Escobar, Vice President of El Salvador gave the keynote addresses. The Conference provided a forum to discuss government procurement needs and processes within the Americas.
