 Verification Centers

The ETV Program is carried out through cooperative agreements with private testing and evaluation organizations. These verification organizations work with EPA technology experts to create efficient and quality-assured testing procedures that verify the performance of innovative technologies. Similar technologies are grouped into verification areas called centers:

Verification Centers
Advanced Monitoring Systems Center – environmental monitoring for air; water; and soils, surfaces, and site characterization
Air Pollution Control Technology Center – control of stationary, mobile, and indoor air pollution
Drinking Water Systems Center – drinking water treatment primarily for use in small communities
Greenhouse Gas Technology Center – greenhouse gas monitoring and mitigation
Water Quality Protection Center – protection of ground water and surface water from contamination
Pollution Prevention Coatings and Coating Equipment Pilot – pollution prevention as it applies to commercial-ready coatings and coating equipment

In addition to these current verification centers, ETV has also verified technologies in other areas that have been terminated or transferred to other organizations. More…
