This is an English map of islands between Taiwan (formerly Formosa) and the Philippines and includes a portion of the island of Luzon. Map shows islands, coastlines, coastal features, soundings off Taiwan and off the northwest coast of Luzon, navigational hazards, and pictorial representation of relief.

This lavishly decorated and colored Mallorcan portolan chart of the Mediterranean Sea and Western Europe includes flags of kingdoms, pictures of cities, images of monarchs and of the Virgin and Child, ornate wind roses, and pictorial representation of various mountain ranges and of real and fanciful animals. The chart extends from north of Ireland to the Ouro River along the African coast. Chart contains numerous Atlantic islands. A signature in Catalan reads, "Jaume Ollives mallorqui en marsela 1550" (i.e. Jaume Oliva). For a comparison, see Vellum Chart 8 by the same cartographer.

This sumptuous and detailed Mallorcan portolan chart primarily of the Mediterranean world includes flags and standards, decorative wind roses, images of monarchs, saints, people, and animals, and pictorial representation of cities. In typical portolan style, emphasis is placed on coastal settlements and other navigational reference points. The chart contains obsolete geographical information concerning Atlantic islands including "Isola de Brazil" and "Isola de maydi". Mateo Prunes (fl. 1533-1594) was a member of a prominent family of Mallorcan cartographers.

This highly decorative portolan chart of the Mediterranean region as well as the Black Seas includes coastlines, numerous coastal features, cities, and towns, images of bannered cities, ornate and colorful wind roses, fanciful and real animals, stylized palm trees, and scrolled scales.
