SYNDROMES
A syndrome can be characterized as a group of symptoms occurring together. MeSH contains terms for many specific syndromes. Some examples are BECKWITH-WIEDEMANN SYNDROME and CRI-DU-CHAT SYNDROME. To index syndromes that are not in MeSH, index the main features of the syndrome and add SYNDROME (NIM). Do not use the subheading /complications with the components of the syndrome.
