Voyager Help

New Features

Voyager version change, November 2005.

The character encoding for the Voyager catalog will be changing to Unicode. In order for diacritics to display properly when using the Save/Print feature you will have to change your browser settings.
In Internet Explorer
Go to: View > Encoding
and select Unicode (UTF-8)
Some more uncommon exotic diacritics may not display properly unless the font is changed. To display these properly: Go to: Tools > Internet Options > Fonts
For the Web type font, select a Unicode font, if any are available. MS Arial Unicode is recommended by the Library of Congress. Lucida Sans Unicode also works. For the Plain Text font select a unicode monotype font. DejaVu Sans Mono is available for free on the Internet.
In Firefox
Go to: Tools > Options > Languages
and under Default Character Encoding: select, Unicode (UTF-8)

Also new options for capturing records are available. See the Help Page for Print/Save and Email for more details.
