The Scientific Resources Program (SRP) provides
products, services, and specialized expertise to CDC staff and activities
in support of research and service activities. SRP is the primary
laboratory support infrastructure for CDC and serves other scientific
functions as well. Although SRP is housed in the National Center
for Infectious Diseases, it endeavors to meet the needs of customers
in all CDC programs. The major activity areas are:
