摘要

許多研究人員已經運用線性或邏輯回歸建模方法,提出健康相關生活品質 (HRQOL) 指標 (結果) 與健康風險因素之間關係的結果。我們運用試題反應理論 (IRT),組合多種 HRQOL 模型的結果,評估多個相關 HRQOL 指標與作為預測指標的多個人口統計學和健康風險變量之間的關係。本研究的資料來源是羅德島 2004 年風險因素監測系統 (2004 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System),該系統的樣本由 3999 名 18 歲或 18 歲以上的成年人組成。我們運用 IRT 開發了一個針對總體 HRQOL 的單一模型,以評估 HRQOL 指標與作為預測指標的多個人口統計學和健康風險變量之間的關係。對總體 HRQOL 差的最強預測指標是較低收入、無工作能力、失業、吸煙、缺乏鍛鍊、哮喘、肥胖和殘障。IRT 可在流行病學上用作多個相關結果的建模方案。將 IRT 應用於流行病學資料,能幫助發現臨危亞組,從而有針對性地實施干預措施。
