Therapist Category Career and Assignment Managers (CAMs)
Career and Assignment Managers or CAMs serve as a point of contact for applicants and officers within each category on applicant issues. The Therapist Category has been assigned to the Red Team which also covers nursing. Contacts in the Red Team include:
Each section represented in the Therapist Category of the Commissioned Corps will have a designated Discipline Liaison. Representation of this position will come from the following areas: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. The Discipline Liaison will serve the Surgeon General, CPO and TPAC Chair regarding specific issues/task related to each professional discipline as well as communicate related information to each discipline.

The Field Representative Coordinator is responsible for working with the Subcommittee, the TPAC Secretary, and the Field Representatives to maintain a roster of Commissioned Officers and Civil Service Therapists.

The Historian is responsible for obtaining interviews, photographs, and printed material that is of historical value to the therapist category, including it in the category archives, and for periodically generating reports for the TPAC summarizing noteworthy accomplishments.

Inactive Reserve Therapist Representative

The Inactive Reservist is vital to the operation and mission of the United States Public Health Service. The Therapist Category has made a commitment to maintain a current contact list of all inactive therapists. Clinics are encouraged to utilize the inactive reserve component for short tours of duty in times of staff shortage.
If you are an Inactive Reserve Officer, or planning to separate from active duty in the near future, make sure to provide current contact information to the Inactive Reserve Liaison. If you are an active duty Officer and would like an updated list of inactive reserve corps therapists, please contact the Inactive Reserve Corps Liaison.
