The most important source for bibliography of books and articles concerning Mexico is the annual Handbook of Latin American Studies (http://lcweb2.loc.gov/hlas/) produced by over 160 contributing editors under the editorship of the Hispanic Division of the Library of Congress. Additional coverage of journal articles can be found through a subscription to the Hispanic American Periodical Index (http://hapi.gseis.ucla.edu/).   Both the Handbook and HAPI are available in selected libraries in book form.  One of the major aggregators for links to a wide variety of subjects relating to regional resources for Latin America is the University of Texas' LANIC (http://lanic.utexas.edu/la/mexico/).

Features CULTURAMA, the Network for Cultural Information in Mexico DF. Presents comprehensive information about cultural infrastructures, heritage, events (some of this section is outdated), cultural services, resources for kids, and research resources. Includes documents about diverse topics related to culture in Mexico DF. Also provides access to cultural information organized by "delegaciones" (administrative units in which Mexico DF is divided). Official site of the National Council for Culture and the Arts in Mexico. It includes comprehensive information about museums, cultural institutions, libraries, recents publications, heritage, prizes, and cultural activities. In Spanish.

The Colegio de Mexico is a public institution devoted to research and to higher education in the social sciences and humanities. This Web site includes information about its centers, academic programs, publications, library, and events. Provides access to its annual reports in PDF format. In Spanish.
