Slide 2: The bar graph
shows the number of monthly HPS cases and case outcome between January
1993 and March 26, 2007. There are a total of 465 confirmed cases of
HPS. An additional 32 cases with disease onset before 1993 are not shown.
The greatest number of cases and deaths was in 1993, with 48 cases resulting
