Map of Multi-Use Trails

Three trails at the Pomona Project provide visitors with the opportunity for hiking and nature study activities. The deer creek nature trail is ¼ mile in length and is located in Outlet Park on the south end of Pomona Lake Dam. The trail winds along deer creek and through a heavy wooded streamside environment.

The witches’ broom nature trail is located in 110-Mile Park and is ½ mile long. The trail is located in an oak/hickory timber stand, a rare find in the state of Kansas.

The black-hawk trail head is located in 110 Mile Park offers a 33 mile loop for those who want a more challenging outdoor recreation experience. It is popular with hikers, horseback riders and mountain bikers.
