Fees are charged on a per site basis. Only one camping unit per site is allowed. A camping unit can be a motor home, trailer, vehicle camper or tent. Each camping unit is allowed one additional tent per site without further charge. There is a limit of two camper vehicles/site and no more than two visitor vehicles/site at any time. During holiday weekends exceptions may be made to this policy to accommodate co-sharing of a specific site. Only one unit may connect to utilities and the co-sharing unit will be charged the basic site fee (non-electric charge for that specific campground).
There is a $2.00 fee to use the sewage dump station at West Rolling Hills and Farnum Creek if you are not a current, registered camper in that campground.
Boat Ramp - $3/day/boat launch Boat Ramp fees are collected at the following ramps: Curtis Creek, West Rolling Hills, Farnum Creek and School Creek. The Timber Creek, East Rolling Hills and North Shore ramps are free. |
4/1-10/31 |
Beach - $1/person up to a maximum charge of $4/vehicle. Beach fees are collected at East Rolling Hills and Outlet Parks. Children 12 & under are free. |
5/15–9/15 |
Picnic Shelter Reservations - $25/day/shelter. East Rolling Hills (Shelters #1 - #8) and North Overlook (Shelters #9 - #10) – alcohol by permit only. Outlet Park (Shelter #11) – no alcohol permitted at this shelter. No refunds are issued for shelter reservations but in the case of cancellations, groups may reschedule for another date. |
4/15–9/30 |
The Corps of Engineers was authorized to collect day use fees at Corps operated and maintained parks by the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993 (Public Law 103-66). Areas leased to other entities or private concessionaires are not included in this authority.
A daily fee of $1/person (maximum $4/vehicle) is charged at developed swimming beaches. Children 12 years of age or younger are free. A daily fee of $3/launch is charged at boat ramps that have restrooms, security lighting, courtesy docks, or other recreation facilities.
Registered campers in Milford Lake Corps parks do not pay the additional day use fee; their camping fee covers this charge.
Annual Day Use Fee Passes may be purchased for $30. The Annual Passes are valid nationwide at any Corps day use fee park for boat ramp and swimming beach fees. These passes may be purchased at the Milford Lake Project Office/Information Center or from Gate Attendants at any Milford Lake Corps campground.
As of 1 January 2007, the Golden Age/Access Passport Program has been discontinued. A new program, America the Beautiful – the National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Pass or Interagency Pass, replaces the former Golden Age/Access program.
The Corps will honor all issued Golden Age/Access Passports for the lifetime of the cardholder and will honor only the new Interagency Senior/Access passes. At this time the Corps has not been authorized to sell/issue the new Interagency passes.
Golden Age/Access Passports as well as the new Interagency Senior/Access passes give a 50% discount on user fees for camping, boat ramps, beaches and Annual Day Use Fee Passes. The discount may not be used for Corps picnic shelter reservations at Milford Lake.
