Recreation Fee Program
Fees are charged at all Corps of Engineers areas that offer camping, except Woodridge Park, at Clinton Lake. The camping areas are Bloomington East – Cedar, Walnut and Hickory campgrounds, and Rockhaven Park.
Fees, known as Day Use fees, are also charged at Corps of Engineers boat ramps and swimming beach located in Bloomington East. There are honor vaults located at the Bloomington East entrance and at the swimming beach to purchase Day Use permits for daily visits. Campers, in Corps of Engineers parks, need not purchase Day Use permits. The camper will receive a camper pass for boat ramps and the swimming beach when they purchase their camping permit. An annual, non-transferable, Day Use pass may be purchased at the Clinton Lake Information Center, a Corps of Engineers park ranger, or from one of the Bloomington Park campground park attendant booths, for persons not camping at Corps areas. There is a $30.00 fee for the Annual Day Use Pass and it is good at all Corps managed swimming beaches and boat ramps nationwide.
