Bloomington East is home to Group Shelters 1 and 2. There are also many other picnicking are provided with charcoal grills and picnic tables. Grills, tables, restrooms, sand volleyball pits, horseshoe pits, softball field and playground equipment are all accessible in the Bloomington East picnicking area. Running water is available to both shelters. There is also a trailhead to the Northshore Trails located in Overlook Park. The pictures on the Photo Page show the typical group shelters, picnicking areas, and their amenities.
