Idaho's Child Care and Development Fund Quality Infant/Toddler Earmark:

FY 2006: The Federal CCDF Quality Infant and Toddler Earmark is $567,698.

FY 2004: The Federal CCDF Quality Infant and Toddler Earmark was $552,693.

The funds are used in the following ways to enhance the Idaho infant and toddler child care system (additional funds may be used to support these activities):

• Idaho STARS (State Training and Registry System) Professional Development Program , which inlcudes an Infant/Toddler track .
• "Kids in Danger" surveys , which assess child care environments for recalled products and choking hazards and provide resources to providers on obtaining information about product safety recalls.
