U.S. soldiers, an Army Reserve unit from Roanoke, Va., fire an 8-inch howitzer at Kajon-Ni, Korea, near the 38th Parallel. The Army Reserve will celebrate its 100th birthday on April 23, marking a full century of service in which Army Reserve soldiers have continuously answered the nation’s call.
