Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) Pacific is committed to administering annual, system-wide standardized assessments to all students grades 3–11. The result of the 2002 TerraNova provide the achievement baseline for the new 2001–2006 Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Community Strategic Plan (CSP). Students’ average scores are consistently higher than the national average (50th percentile) in all subject areas at all grade levels.

In 2002, a baseline was established to measure student progress toward reaching the achievement goals for DoDEA CSP 2006. The 2002 baseline shows DoDDS Pacific students are already on their way.
