Corps of Engineers Visitor Centers provide
visitors a focal point for information about our natural
resources projects where you
can learn about the local history and mission of the Corps of Engineers
and find detailed information about the recreation opportunities
at our rivers and lakes.
Mobile District Visitor
Centers also provide project regulations,
area maps, and typically stock brochure maps of
federal recreation opportunities at other
Corps Lakes and National Parks in the region. Some
visitor centers
provide exhibits, interpretive programs and meeting rooms
as well.
